A group of students had a beautiful idea to connect the children in Ghana to the McCracken middle school students by making and selling friendship bracelets. For every pair of bracelets sold, one will be worn by the student who purchased it and the other will be given to a child in Ghana. How incredible is that!
Their passion and ingenuity in planning these events continue to make a powerful difference in the lives of the orphaned and needy children we support. Their efforts ensure that the babies and children living in the orphanage receive nutritious food and baby formula, medial care, and access to an education. A portion of the money they collected this year will also go towards funding our summer 2013 malaria project. It is truly amazing that these middle school students care so much about children in Ghana to donate their time, energy, and resources to making a meaningful difference! A BIG thanks to two absolutely amazing teachers, Jen Ciok and Bethany Blades for your support and guidance in all this meaningful work! Thank you very much for helping to change the lives of these precious children!
